Applications

HoloDentist can make the difference in every dentistry specialty.

Applications in Fixed & removable Prosthodontics/ Orthodontics

HoloDentist allows the clinician to discuss the treatment plan with his/her colleagues along with the dental technician/lab, even remotely, with the possibility to visualize the full set of the patient’s models in the form of holograms. With HoloDentist the clinician is also able to discuss the treatment with the patient in an intuitive and visual way, which may increase the possibility to accept the treatment.

Radiology & Oral Pathology applications

HoloDentist allows the clinician to visualize different lesions in 3D along with a set of pictures, which can be extremely helpful to make a correct diagnosis, especially in difficult cases. Thus, HoloDentist can help the clinician set the proper treatment plan.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery applications

HoloDentist can be used as a Mixed Reality application, together with the modern artificial intelligence software, to plan in 3D, using holograms, the position/inclination/depth of the fixtures in the bone. This can speed up and simplify the planning process and help finalize the treatment by means of static and dynamic implant surgery.

Periodontal Surgery applications

HoloDentist allows the clinician to visualize different periodontal lesions in 3D along with a set of pictures, which can be extremely helpful to make a correct diagnosis, especially in difficult cases. This can help the clinician set the proper treatment plan, surgical or non-surgical.

How HoloDentist works

With voice commands, gesture recognition and holographic projection, using HoloDentist and Extended Reality is easy. The operator can handle tools while projecting on a virtual layer the patient’s 3D information, such as CBCTs, intra-oral scans, face scans, implants, bones, etc.

Software

Time is essential, and this is why HoloDentist has developed a holographic software with a simple, clean and easy user interface.

For an entire year, they ran tests and used the feedback to improve the usability of the software, resulting in a product that has a learning curve of less than 5 minutes.
